here is the reason why I have been drawn away from my craft room of late! I have been more and more drawn to crochet and knitting recently, and have been wanting to make this item for a while, it is inspired by the Wonderful Lucy from Attic 24 , whose blog you just can't help but fall in love with if you like crochet! Pop on over and take a look!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 136-73/Polka Doodles Challenge

Here is my card which I have made for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 136-73 . I am also entering the card into the Polka Doodles challenge , which this week, had a theme of Retro/vintage. I have gone for a vintage look to my card with a few muted pastels for the icing on the cake! I have coloured the image with a mixture of distress inks, copic markers and aquatone pencils. I have used some vintage looking DCWV papers, adding some textured card and flowers and brads from stash.

Christmas Card

It has been a while since I have added anything. I have made this christmas card for a friend, and it is the first card of this type that I have made. I have used some old christmas paper from stash to decorate the panels, with some glitter borders, and some festive Forever Friends stickers. I would welcome any comments.

Birthday Card - Fizzy Moon

Well, it has been a difficult year for crafy mojo. I haven't made anything in a while. I had a birthday card to make and made this. The adorable image is a Fizzy Moon acrylic stamp, which I have coloured using copic markers. I have mounted on contrasting cards and used some Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck Salt air paper. I have added some ribbons and flowers to embellish. I have another pressing calling of knitting and crochet just now, but, looking forward to getting into the craft room a bit more often.

Here is my entry for this week's sketch on Sweet Sketch Wednesday Blog which you can see here
I cut the images on my Slice die cut machine, using the Vintage findings card. I inked the edges and used paper, flowers and gems from stash.
I made this card for a friend to congratulate her on her new job, she is a newly qualified graphic designer and deserves every success. You can see her work here at Long Armed Cactus.
