Hope you all had a great xmas!! This photo was snapped outside in my back garden at 11.30pm on xmas eve! I didn't even realise it was snowing! It was actually quite beautiful out there and the sky was a weird pinky colour, even at that late hour!! Alas, all that remains now is a crunchy slush type mess!! Ho hum!!
Anyway, I have done a challenge over on the docrafts forum, the challenge being use a Gorjuss Girls image, love, 2 papers and 5 embellishments. I have used the challenge to create a page for my new calendar. Thanks for looking, and hope you had a great festive season!!

I made this card for a challenge on the docrafts community forum. The challenge was a sketch, and another challenge was to use cream plus one other colour, and to use the last piece of stash you bought. I used PM creative tones paper in cream, with lilac cardstock. I coloured Tilda's dress to match using promarkers and copics and cut with nestabilities. I have added some bling with sparkly ribbon and my most recent stash is the rub ons, bling stones and chipboard accents. Thanks for looking.

Not blogged for a bit!! Christmas cards have kept me busy, and for a change, as part of the Pink Booby Crop I attended recently for Breast Cancer Care, I have actually done a scrapbook page! Yes, you heard it right!! I seem to spend most of my time making cards but I suppose there are no rules so whatever takes your fancy!!!
The page is of my niece on her prom night! I have handcut the circles with a craft knife from 3 co-ordinating papers and finished off with matching flowers, trims and some bling! Hope you like my efforts!!!

This week over on Basic Grey the challenge is to include embossing, while the challenge on Penny Black is to make anything, but to include lace and pearls. I have made a card using the T for Transparent stamps from Penny Black, embossed the tree and coloured with polychromos pencils and sansador. I have used a piece of black lacy trim and have used pearl brads for the flower centres. The flowers have been die cut with the cuttlebug and then run through an embossing folder, although the photo doesn't really show this too well, sorry!!! The papers are from the Basic Grey Sultry collection and have used versa colour fresh green and colourbox chalk cream brown inkpads to edge. I have decorated the inside with scraps too, and for a change made the card gatefold. Thanks for looking, and I would welcome your comments.

Well I am back in blog land again!! I haven't blogged in way too long, so, whilst enjoying a crafty day off today, I have had a go at a few challenges. I found this newish challenge blog here . This weeks sketch is number 11 and is from Arianne. I have used DCWV papers, and my new Papermania stamps. Although, having had a play today, I will be taken them back to the shop, as one of the stamps appears to have a pitted surface, which is a shame!!! as I really like them!!!

Ok, so yesterday I had a giggle at a blogging buddy who commented on the state of her craft desk! And, challenged with taking a picture of mine, I went for it and dug out my camera!! Believe it or not, this actually spreads to the computer chair to the right of the photo and to the computer desk and the floor too!! I am not that tidy!!! So, come on, show us your craft space!!!

I have finally started my memory book, which is for a present to my DH's aunt for christmas. I have only done four pages so far, the papers are all from PM Nostalgia Blue kit which come with a matching scrapbook aswell. I thought I would try and stick with these papers if possible. I have used the following:-
'Children are poor man's riches' this was originally in a christmas card sent out to family, so have used the original folder as a background and highlighted it with some ink, a cricut scroll and faux button and faux frame.
'Parents' - here I have added some contrasting cricut letters with a chipboard accent and some stamping.
'Cheers' - I have matted the photo onto contrasting paper added some ribbon and some faux stitching, and have embossed the chipboard letters with contrasting ink
The last page, I have used some chipboard flowers, inked and embossed, added some ribbon and used a contrasting paper for the background, this one is still without a title and was taken from a sketch which I saw in a current mag! Hope you like my efforts!! I would welcome your comments as I make cards more often than I scrapbook!!

Well, hello again anybody who might cast there eye over this!! I haven't blogged or done any challenges in a while. Wedding Invites have kept me away (not for me but for somebody else!) The first one I have had a go at is here - this weeks challenge being to make a cute and square christmas card.
I have used Dovecraft papers which I have inked at the edges, co-ordinating card and have used one of my new Forever Friends stamps, coloured using polychromos pencils and sansador. I really enjoyed doing this one, so much in fact, that I made four all at once!!! But now, the craft space has become so tiny, I will have to tidy it all away before I start again!! Thanks for looking!!

I have been a bit distant in blogging of late, and haven't really had the chance to do any challenges either! Here is the reason. I have been making some wedding invites for the daughter of a friend at work. She wanted something very simple, with a bow on. Having given her initial embellishment examples, we decided upon this design. I have cut the silver mirror card and the weave finish white card on the cricut machine. The bow is stamped and embossed in silver ink, and then mounted onto the mirror card using foam squares - I had a really hard time finding this stamp too! The only thing I have left to do now is the inserts for inside. I am awaiting the bride to make a decision as to the wording, as the wedding is to be hosted by the bride and groom, I would welcome your comments. I got the invitations, hammered effect white card with silver embossed script from the wedding crafter, who were excellent!

Not blogged for a while, busy doing wedding invitations for a friend! I have made a father's day card for my father in law who loves fishing! I have used Clare Curd's Signature range for men, using paper piecing and then coloured the image with copic pens and polychromos pencils. I have also added a touch of bling with some green stickles for the fish and added a peel off to the front and a stamped sentiment to the inside! Haven't done this for a challenge, just for fun! Looking forward to getting back to following challenges soon as I enjoy the inspiration! Until then, thanks for looking!

Have used nestabilities to cut out the scalloped ovals and have used a forever friends stamp coloured with polychromos pencils. Matching flower and brads from stash and some K&Co rub ons - am going to send this off to a magazine for a competition to win a trip round the forever friends design offices! It's worth a shot!
