Basic Grey meets Penny Black

This week over on Basic Grey the challenge is to include embossing, while the challenge on Penny Black is to make anything, but to include lace and pearls. I have made a card using the T for Transparent stamps from Penny Black, embossed the tree and coloured with polychromos pencils and sansador. I have used a piece of black lacy trim and have used pearl brads for the flower centres. The flowers have been die cut with the cuttlebug and then run through an embossing folder, although the photo doesn't really show this too well, sorry!!! The papers are from the Basic Grey Sultry collection and have used versa colour fresh green and colourbox chalk cream brown inkpads to edge. I have decorated the inside with scraps too, and for a change made the card gatefold. Thanks for looking, and I would welcome your comments.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge

Well I am back in blog land again!! I haven't blogged in way too long, so, whilst enjoying a crafty day off today, I have had a go at a few challenges. I found this newish challenge blog here . This weeks sketch is number 11 and is from Arianne. I have used DCWV papers, and my new Papermania stamps. Although, having had a play today, I will be taken them back to the shop, as one of the stamps appears to have a pitted surface, which is a shame!!! as I really like them!!!
