Look what I made!

Thought I would share my christmas stocking with you! I am mad on all things Disney, especially Tigger! So, I cross stitched this stocking and edged with some festive piping, to hang on the mantel piece! Would love to hear your comments!!

New Beginnings

I haven't been in blogland for a while, the mojo kind of disappeared back in the spring!! I have however, been reacquainted with my love of wool! And have been having a play! These pictures show the beginnings of a 'Granny Square' blanket and a bag, both crocheted with left over wool, you can find the pattern at a wonderful blog I have been enjoying recently called Attic 24 The lady who runs it is marvellously creative and has a remarkably colourful home! I just love it! I still enjoy making cards, but am finding the wool has taken over of late! Does anybody else out there swing from one craft to the next?

More cards!!

Here are a few cards I have made recently!! I have been a bit weary of late, and have not crafted as much as I would like! Although, I have discovered my knitting needles again, and... I have just started to venture into stray sock sewing!! (yes, you read it right!) All the above were made for challenges on the docrafts forum!

Club Anya Challenge

This weeks challenge at Club Anya is a sketch challenge and to use two of the following - stitching, inking, painting or embossing. You can see the challenge here .

I have used PM V & A papers, and have created an easel card. Miss Anya coloured using copic markers, I have inked the edges of the nestabilitie and have hand stitched the edges of one of the panels. Thank you for looking and I would welcome your comments.

Tilda Patchwork Card

Card made for challenge on docrafts forum - with a patchwork theme. I have used PM V & A papers, with rub on stitching, doodling and inked edges, I have coloured Tilda with copic markers and paper pieced the dress and heart. Flowers, brad, adhesive stones from stash.

Forever Friends Card

I made this little cutie for a challenge on the docrafts forum. The challenge was to use paper piecing and some ribbon. I have coloured the bear with copic markers and paper pieced the pressie, ribbon and tag. The sentiment banner was cut on the slice. Thanks for looking!

Gorjuss Girls Card

Made for a challenge on docrafts forum - I have coloured my image using Copic markers, I have used PM creative tones papers, a ribbon, charm, flower and brad from stash, and a MS punch for the border!

Friday Sketchers Challenge #93

I have used a cute Forever Friends stamp to create this card for the sketch challenge on Friday Sketchers
I have used DCWV papers, and coloured the bear using copic markers. I have rotated the sketch slightly and used two images to the centre, as this card is for a neighbour who has just had twins - one of each! Hence the colour scheme! Thank you for looking!

Friday Sketchers/Just Magnolia

I have used the sketch Friday Sketchers, having rotated it 90 degrees, and for Just Magnolia, the challenge was 'Birthdays' - I have used Basic Grey papers, and 2 different Tildas seated on a bench, coloured with copics, ribbon and sentiment added to the side! Thanks for looking!

Floral card with stitching

I am entering this card for the secret crafter saturday challenge . The challenge was to use stitching somewhere. I have used Laura Ashley papers. I have created the flower with cuttlebug die and embossed it. I have hand stitched some of the leaves and added a sentiment.

Made for a challenge on Docrafts forum. I have used Laura Ashley papers, hand stitched to the top and bottom, and coloured Tilda with copics and polychromos pencils.

1st Try at Art Journal - Front cover

Having been inspired by an article in Craft Stamper, I thought I would give this a go!! I am not really sure it is for me, but I gave it a try!! I adhered torn text to mountboard, painted with gesso, then with gold, red and green acrylic paints. I have overstamped and embossed through a negative of a cutout word, used a bird stamp and a face stamp for the head. This is a work in progress, so bear with me!!!

Valentines Card

Made for my lovely hubby! I used my Slice and a cuttlebug edge embossing folder!

Pepper & Friends Easel Card

I made this card for a challenge on the docrafts website. I have used MM papers, my new 'Pepper and Friends' stamp, coloured with copics then blinged up with glitter glue. I have embossed some chipboard flowers and used a leaf punch on some scraps for effect. Thanks for looking!!

Friday Sketchers/Just Magnolia

I have combined two challenge cards for my card, the sketch is from Friday Sketchers and the theme over on Just Magnolia this week is hearts and flowers. I have used a Magnolia stamp coloured with copic markers and have seated her on a stamped fence, I have used Laura Ashley papers with matching card, ribbon and charm and have added some flowers touched up with a sakura pen. Another Slice Card

Here is a card I made with my slice for a work colleague. I used some papers that I won in a challenge on the docrafts forum, and cut the mount, flowers and numbers all on the slice. I hope you like my card! Hoping to pick my mood up as I am a bit low just now, so hopefully, some crafting will do the trick!!

Calendar page

Image done up as part of a challenge over on docrafts and added to my craft calendar for Feb!! Still struggling through with the snow, have been getting the train all week, so a break from the car, as the roads are still way too treacherous!! I would love somebody to write me a note to excuse me from work! (As promised by a blog buddy a few days ago!!) Hope everybody is safe and well in the weather!!

Beware of the misery of the snow that is coming your way!

Having spent more than 2 hours trying to get to work and failing miserably, I spent the day at home making a card or two and photographing the snow! It comes up to almost the top of your wellies so this is what you will wake up to tomorrow! Keep safe everybody!

A Fresh Start for the new year with my new toy!!

As I have a new toy to play with from santa, I thought I would try to take a picture each day to give me something to get back into scrapping!! So,, here a few of the decorations from new years day and today!!! I am hoping to get better as I go along!!
