Stair Step Card

Not blogged for a while, so thought I would take a piccy of this stair step card, this is the first time I have made one of these and I am quite pleased with it. It is simply decorated with tree and reindeer stamps and a stamped greeting from the Papermania Joyeux Noel clear stamp set. I have used red base card and christmas paper from DCWV which I have edged with black ink. Thanks for looking.

'Laughter' Layout

Another Layout for a memory book for my DH's aunty for christmas. The photo is of her and her grandchildren. I have cut the photo using Spellbinders Nestabilities and mounted onto contrasting Cosmo Cricket papers. The edges have been inked and I have included some faux stitching with a pen and some stitch rub ons. I have added some vellum flowers with co-ordinating flowers to the bottom edged with a stardust pen and completed with flowers from stash and a rub on bracket from American Crafts. Hope you like my efforts.

Whiff of Joy challenge No. 53

This weeks challenge over on Whiff of Joy is to use the colours red, cream and one other. I have used a red and cream lace effect paper, used red card for the mount and coloured the mouse using copic pens and added a bit of bling with some gel pens. My other colour added to the cake. I have also used a gingham red and cream ribbon to trim across the card. Hope you like my efforts, and thanks for looking.
