Not posted for a while!

Haven't posted for a while! Just not got round to it! Have bought some Magnolia stamps, and am having a lot of fun playing with these just now! Here is my first card! I used Papermania Creative Tones Raspberry Champagne paper, with a chipboard negative covered in pink holographic paper ( I know it looks purple!!) I used Watercolour pencils to colour in my Tilda image! I'm quite please with how it turned out! What do you think?? Any tips would be most welcome! Having looked at everybody elses cards, my meagre effort seems a bit flat, so I am now looking for some markers to try them! They seem to give an amazing effect!!

  1. For a first it's nice but I can see what you're saying - your colours are a bit pale. I use watercolour pencils too - but with a waterpen - and I often take extra colour directly from the pencil and paint it here and there to create shadows etc. Feel free to visit me if you would like to see some of my cards. I also use Letraset pens for faces and hands and blush on the cheeks. Just keep painting and you'll get there. And btw I like the layout with the Tilda sitting in the negative flower - super idea.
