Birthday Card - Fizzy Moon

Well, it has been a difficult year for crafy mojo. I haven't made anything in a while. I had a birthday card to make and made this. The adorable image is a Fizzy Moon acrylic stamp, which I have coloured using copic markers. I have mounted on contrasting cards and used some Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck Salt air paper. I have added some ribbons and flowers to embellish. I have another pressing calling of knitting and crochet just now, but, looking forward to getting into the craft room a bit more often.

Something Different!

Thought I would log on with a few pictures of what has been keeping me busy recently. I have been crocheting quite a bit!
The robin and the hanging christmas wreath decorations can be found on this wonderful blog and the crochet cushion is many large and small sunflower motifs, originally from Inside Crochet magazine. Hope you like my efforts, I still need to add some bling to the christmas wreaths, and the robin pattern was originally called
The Love Nest but I just did the robin and made him into a hanging decoration!

I have made this card for the challenge over on Sweet Sketch Wednesday - which is Arlana's sketch. I have used a freebie kit of the new 'Pampered Pets' range, which came free with the the latest issue of Creativity magazine. Just Magnolia/Totally Tilda Challenge card

Happy March everybody! I am enjoying a couple of days off starting today, and have started my day by making some cards for some challenge on Blogger and on Docrafts forum.

This card is entered into the following:-

Totally Tilda Challenge #17 - Fruity Tilda
Just Magnolia Week 95 Mina's Sketch
and for the Three Tildas Challenge on the Docrafts forum.

Totally Tilda required you to use some fruit on your card, I have stamped 2 little strawberries, which are coloured with marvy markers and I have used some stickles to enhance them! I have used Magnolia stamps for the bench and for Tilda sitting down, with aquatone background and a stamped sentiment, and have added glitter to the edge of the nestie shape.

The three tildas challenge was to use three stamped images, so I have used Tilda,, Bench, and the strawberries, although, technically, there are four if you include the sentiment!! Thanks for looking and I would welcome your comments!

Not a card but a jumper!!

Well, this is what I was doing with my time when my mojo upped and went for cards last summer!

I made this cardigan having not knitted in years, or done any cabling for that matter! When it was complete, however, I found that it was a little on the tight side, so, I emailed here and the lovely Aneeta gave me a hint of what I could do about it, and it worked a treat! This isn't a great photo, but, she did make me knitter of the month in september so you can see a pic on her website! I am now enjoying getting into crochet thanks to the wonderful blog I am following at Attic 24 with the lovely Lucy! Her blog is amazing, and her life is so filled with colour, it is inspiring! Take a peek! the picture shows my attempt at a crochet bag which is on Lucy's blog, - it is a work in progress!!
